Online Dental Consultation

Community Forums General Dentistry I have bad teeth staining, but I don’t smoke or drink/eat anything that causes stains. I’m wondering if it’s a chromogenic issue, or something else. No dentist so far has been able to help me find a solution. When I get my teeth cleaned every 6 months the process is very intense and laborious because of the severity of the staining, even though I brush 6 times a day, floss daily, and carefully avoid foods and drinks that stain.

Yes, this is true that due to the presence of chronological bacteria inside the mouth you can develop stains frequently in spite of taking good care of oral hygiene. as it’s not in our hand regular cleaning by the dentist is the only solution to remove stains.
